One of the main themes that runs throughout Psalms is how God loves and blesses the righteous. While his arms of mercy are open to all, these scriptures clearly show that his greatest love and blessings are conditional upon our actions of righteousness. The collection Refuge of the Lord shows references of the Lord protecting the righteous.
"3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. 6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. 7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety."

Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness,
according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. 25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; 26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward."

young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord
shall not want any good thing. 11 Come, ye children, hearken
unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord. 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips

Joseph Smith Translation, JST, Psalms 11:5
Psalms45:6,7 is quote by Paul in Hebrews 1:8,9. Paul describes the verses as Heavenly's Fathers communication and commendation to His son, Jesus Christ. We share in these blessings as we covenant and take up on ourselves the name of Christ receiving similar blessings through His grace and atonement.
